Island Arts Expo
A Weekend Celebration of Art for the Whole Family
The First Annual Island Arts Expo was held November 14-15, 2009 at the Lighthouse Community Centre in Qualicum Bay, BC. Co-sponsored by Island Arts Magazine and EyesOnBC (The Beacon Magazine) this extravaganza featured over 25 of Vancouver Islands best artists. Details for the next year's EXPO will be announced in Spring 2010
Winner of the Grand Door Prize — a Ken Krikby original oil painting — was Barb Chestnut of Parksville. The event also raised $550.00 and 36 bags of groceries for the local food bank.
